Reading & Signing at Bend's B&N

Today was lots of fun reading from KNIGHT'S CURSE and then signing books. My family came, and some good friends, and even a couple of new people I had the good fortune to meet for the first time.

The staff at Barnes & Noble was very gracious and provided a few small refreshments, which everyone appreciated. I bribed encouraged questions from the audience by giving those who asked one a tiny gargoyle charm. Events like these always give me a warm fuzzy feeling inside. :)

The sun shone a bit brightly in the background so these pics didn't turn out so great, but a little photoshop work helped. This last one is of me and my fabulous hair stylist, who works magic with hair. Anyone who can deal with my unruly mop deserves a medal. She's also the one who gave me the lovely flowers.

Even though I didn't come close to selling out of books, the event itself was a good time and another great memory to add to my author scrapbook.
