More Art: The Original Zombie Bear

I just finished making this teddy bear in a 3D graphics program, so I took a snapshot of him. You've heard of Chucky, that evil doll that stars in those horror movies? Well, move over, Chuck, because here comes Zombie Bear! A cheerful stuffed toy that any child would love to play with, right? Other than his crazy eyes and bloody stuffing, he's a happy little guy who just wants to cuddle. But don't get too close or those fangs could take a bite out of you. Bwahahaha!

If you could make up a story about Zombie Bear, what would it be?

You are so funny, Karen. My kids would just have pulled out some of that stuffing to make him a skinny hungry zombie bear. :)

Hahaha! Well, my dog is the one who inspired me to make this bear. She loves her toys, but she always guts and skins them. There are stuffed toy carcasses all over the house and bits of stuffing hiding under the sofa. The dog loves the pull the squeakers out, too, before proudly shaking the poor empty thing. She is hard on her toys.

Love it. Interesting and funny. A story about Zombie Bear? I'm thinking a Velveteen Rabbit mashup. Does Quirk Books sell children's lit? ;-D

It looks like an image from a computer game. Nice work!

Awesome! I actually wrote a story about teddy bears... It was based on the song "Teddy Bear Picnic."

Thanks, Kathryn!

Jill, I'm not sure about Quirk Books, but I love your idea about a Velveteen Rabbit mash-up.

Thanks, Max, and he sure does look like a character in a computer game. Probably because I use the same software that game designers use to create my 3D art. :)

Thanks, Claire! I'd love to read your story about teddy bears. Sounds adorable. :)
